Olive At Home | Newborn Session

Sweet little Olive was captured at home amongst her beautiful family. She was captured in her living room utilizing beautiful light and then we went outdoors for a few fun shots in the warm summer weather.

Our midwife and friend, Ginnie Priest and Annika Seeley assisted the birth. We have been fortunate to have had this amazing team for both Simon’s and now Olive’s birth in the comfort of our own country home!Door County-Newborn-baby-child-family-Photographer-Green Baypin imageDoor County-Newborn-baby-child-family-Photographer-Green Baypin imageDoor County-Newborn-baby-child-family-Photographer-Green Baypin imageDoor County-Newborn-baby-child-family-Photographer-Green Baypin imageDoor County-Newborn-baby-child-family-Photographer-Green Baypin imageOlive is named after my Grandmother Mary, Great Aunt Marie and Great Grandmother Olive. I have so many great memories of my Grandmother and feel as though she was a true example of unconditional Love!Door County-Newborn-baby-child-family-Photographer-Green Baypin imageDoor County-Newborn-baby-child-family-Photographer-Green Baypin imagepin imageDoor County-Newborn-baby-Photographerpin imageDoor County-Newborn-baby-Photographerpin imageDoor County-family-child-Photographerpin imageDoor County-family-child-Photographerpin imageOlive is going to wear her sister Norah’s baptism gown. The gown was made by Justin’s mother using the lace from his Great Great Grandmothers wedding dress. A bit of the lace from the bottom of the gown is peaking out of the top of the ceramic bowl in the below image of our three beautiful children.

I did this so that we could have a bit more time with them and to really have an entire morning together~ was really fantastic.  I must add that I had all three of my kiddos along so that they could meet their newest cousin~ was too short of a stay for all of us!  Oh how I wish I could just take a week and just sit and gaze upon her and spend time with my Sister and her family in their quiet country home(sort of quiet;) I hope you enjoyed a glimpse into Olive’s At Home Newborn Session 🙂
